Hi! My name is Karisa Tavassoli, “Ms. T”. 

I started Holistic Education Services because I saw the realities of the education crisis in our country- and I decided to do something about it. 

I have a Master of Teaching degree in Special Education with two certifications in Reading Instruction, and over 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience. At the end of the day, we all want to be seen, heard, and respected. Too often this is lacking in our communities and in our education systems, but we have the power to change that. 

Holistic Education Services blends mental wellness with custom academic support and parent advocacy. This means that children learn according to how their brains work, they learn practical coping skills to reduce anxiety, and parents are informed about what their children are working on. 

This work is a public health approach to cultivating healthy communities through literacy, math, study skills, wellbeing skills, and family support. We look forward to being a part of your village!
